Kornerstone School, Incorporated is a 501(c)3 public tuition-free school serving grades 8-12 in the Kimberly Area School District.
Flexibility
- Students will have dual enrollment opportunities.
- Meaning, students will have the opportunity to take college courses, both for credit and non-credit.
- College courses can be taken online, or at one of our many local institutions. (For credit college courses may require additional costs for parents & students).
- Students in Kornerstone School may take up to two classes per semester at Kimberly High School, JR Gerritts.
- Students in Fall sports or activities at KHS or JR Gerritts will have their scheduled August schedule modified to fit their sports or activities schedule.
- 1 hour per day is dedicated to students learning about something they are passionate about.
- Project Based Learning allows students to study their interests in-depth.
- Students and parents have unparalleled control over the curriculum.

2:45pm - 3:00pm Advisory Group Meeting/ Analysis; students with activities at JRG, KHS, or employment shifts beginning at 3:30 are excused
3:00pm - 3:55 Project Based Learning
4:00pm - End of School Day
5:00pm - 9pm - Building remains open as a Community Learning Center
