Student Center

At Kornerstone School, the students are at the center of their educational experience. They are also a part of a new school culture.

Kornerstone is a small school in a big school district. Kornerstone School will have up to 60 students for the 2012-13 school year and 75 students for the 2013-14 school year.

From their first day in Kornerstone, students are held accountable; yet, provided with a flexible learning environment and get to know each of their classmates & teachers. Each and everyday, students will have an opportunity to find their spark.

Late Start Time

Studies indicate adolescents are in their deepest sleep cycle at dawn. In order to accommodate students wellness needs, Kornerstone School will begin its day at 9:00 am. Teachers will be available before and after school to assist students with their learning.
