Multi-Age Advisories
Students 'loop' with their advisor for as long as they attend Kornerstone School. If a student enters Kornerstone School as an 8th grader, they'll have the same advisor for all five years.
The model has been adopted by Valley New School with great success. Staff goes to great lengths to ensure the student-advisor match is a good one. Student's passions and talents are connects with advisor's strengths and expertise areas. The multi-age advisory also allows veteran student's to mentor newbies to Kornerstone.
